In French, robe is the coat of the animal. Our artisans place each pattern by hand to keep its finest markings, then edge every seam in leather so the bag holds its shape for years.

Every Robe bag is made with love, from a single piece of skin. No animal is ever raised or killed for its hide: every skin comes from an animal raised for food.

We believe that skin deserves not to be wasted. By using it, we honour the animal and preserve what is unique about it, its pattern and its character, so that it lasts for years instead of being thrown away.

That is why Robe exists. Our artisans have practised this craft for years, and they work each skin by hand, so that every bag carries a pattern that will never exist again.
